A Finish and Some Progress!

Hello all!  I hope for all my American friends you are having a great Labor Day and for everyone else, I hope you are having a great day as well!!!

It is strange but now that I am working and the homeschool year has began, I am really busy BUT I am finding more time to stitch!!! I am not griping at all!!!!!  I finished my little horse that I was stitching on.  I figured out when I was working on the last leg that I stitched that I has mis-counted.  Since this was just a freebie and I was stitching it for fun, I said forget the frogs cuz I am not messing with them!  LOL  So I just went on a made a couple little changes.  I also changed the color of the basket for the apples.  I am pleased with the result and here it is:

I have also gotten another section finished on my pattern that I am stitching the sample of.  I am enjoying stitching it as it is nice and easy and fun.  Here is the update of what is is looking like:
We have had some cooler temps the last couple days and I am thanking God for it.  We have had more days of 3 digit temps this year than ever before.  The last couple days has been in the high 80's and it is fantastical!!  Now if we could just get some rain maybe we won't run out of water in this dried up West Texas area!!! was down for about a month but she is back up and running for those who wanted to know!!!

Gotta go for now, hope everyone has a wonderful and Blessed week!!!!!

Your horse looks so cute - and any mistake that was made doesn't show up at all. It looks like he is enjoying an apple while looking back at the bucket to make sure that no one takes it :) I love the little seasonal smapler you are stitching up, I can't wait to see the finished product! Hope you all get some rain too, I have heard about all the fires in that area. I hope that they are not affecting you all.
Take care.
